Fundraiser 2026: € 100,000 for the girls' dormitory
Nabwire is seeking one hundred thousand euros for a new dormitory for the girls of Imprezza Academy in Busia.
The girls of Imprezza Academy sleep in a shed: iron bunk frames, mosquito nets tied to the roof, no bathroom of their own. Those who live too far to walk sleep here — and those who cannot sleep here stay home.
Nabwire is therefore seeking € 100,000 for a new girls’ dormitory. It will build and buy the dormitory itself, bathrooms and toilets, sanitary supplies, and beds with mattresses, pillows and blankets. The design is by Kenyan architect Joseph Muthoga. Construction is paid in phases, against milestones, to a budget that can be checked afterwards.
